In the small alleys of the slums a lot of criminal activities take place. With huge unemployment and bad habits like alcoholism the slum is an insecure place to live. ‘At night they knock on your door and greet you with a machete on your face. You have no choice. Where is the government? Not here. We want young policeman who can run after a thief.’ Sometimes things change for the better, like Majengo Digital youth group who reformed and now do community cleaning.
